Financial Dashboard

The Financial Dashboard effectively gauges the financial impacts of staffing decisions.  Using data feeds from your other systems, it provides relevant and timely reports to accomplish the following:

  • Track productivity statistics on a daily basis to make adjustments to future schedules before the pay period ends to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Monitor the cost of staffing by reviewing the average rate and cost associated with staffing for each day.  This highlights a situation when a cost center has the right level of resources according to their budget but is utilizing expensive staffing resources.
  • By reviewing census levels and indirect hours within the dashboard, you can intelligently answer questions as to why productivity statistics are not in line with defined goals.
  • Obtain detailed information regarding types of indirect hours and staffing sources utilized in each cost center.

Variance Dashboard

Through an interface with your time and attendance system, Smart Square can compare actual worked hours against scheduled hours in Smart Square on a daily basis.  This Dashboard displays missing or late punches and  incidental overtime as well as their associated costs.  To identify staff members with a variance you are able to drill down and see actual punch information.

Scheduling Dashboard

The Scheduling Dashboard is a flexible reporting system that retrieves and analyzes information from various scheduling and staffing data points.  This management tool allows the user to log-in and view real-time staffing metrics and evaluate staffing outcomes and trends through a variety of graphs and tables.

  • Capability to view enterprise down to unit level
  • Data displayed in this graphical manner allows a manager to quickly determine how well the stage has been set for optimal staffing outcomes
  • One location for important staffing information at a manager’s fingertips
  • Gives managers the data to effectively and efficiently manage the schedule for their units by understanding their staffing situations and identifying problem areas
  • Allows an executive the ability to evaluate the entire system, identify areas or units of concern that impact the bottom line or concern the quality of patient care
